We own a number of pieces by Sarah, and they are a magical presence in our home, creating an atmosphere of ambiguous mystery with their ancient/futuristic, organic/mechanical dynamics. As collectors of modern ceramics we find that most pieces settle into their surroundings over time, becoming part of the domestic scenery. Sarah's pieces are different: like strange crystals, their resonance slowly grows, always re-generating and transforming the space around them.
